Privacy notice

Draft for legal review, not yet approved. Last updated: 4 November 2026.

This notice explains how personal data is handled when you use curavit.org, in particular when you send an enquiry or a message.

Who is responsible

Curavit is a brand of Orchidia Pharmaceutical Industries, Obour City, Qalyubia, Egypt. Orchidia is the controller of the personal data described here. Privacy contact: privacy@curavit.org.

What we collect

Only what you type into our forms:

  • Name, e-mail address and, if you give it, phone number
  • For business enquiries: company name, company type, country, sales channels, whether you hold an import licence or can register products, markets of interest, the products and volume ranges you are interested in, your timing and the documents you ask for
  • Your message
  • Your choices: agreement to this notice (required), agreement to receive news from us (optional) and your cookie choice

Please do not include health information about yourself or anyone else in a message. We do not need it to answer business or product enquiries.

To stop automated spam, the website briefly keeps a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address to count repeated submissions. It cannot be turned back into your IP address and is deleted automatically after a short time.

Why we use it

  • To answer your enquiry or message and follow up on it
  • To assess a possible business partnership and send documents you request
  • To send you news about Curavit, only if you ticked the optional box
  • To keep the website secure and prevent abuse
  • To measure how the website is used, only if you accept analytics cookies

We rely on your consent, and where relevant on steps you ask us to take before a possible agreement and on our legal obligations. This follows Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 and, for visitors from Saudi Arabia, the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law.

Who receives it

  • Orchidia staff who handle enquiries (export, sales, medical information)
  • Our customer relationship management provider, Zoho Corporation (European Union data centre)
  • Our website hosting provider (Hostinger) and e-mail provider (Hostinger Email), only to run these services
  • Google, through Google Tag Manager, only if you accept analytics cookies
  • Authorities, where the law requires it

We do not sell personal data. Some of these providers may process data outside Egypt. Where that happens, we will use the safeguards the law requires contractual safeguards with each provider and, where the law requires it, a licence or permit from the Personal Data Protection Center.

How long we keep it

Enquiry details are stored encrypted on the website and deleted automatically 180 days after the enquiry. Copies in our customer relationship system are kept for 24 months after our last contact with you and then deleted, unless an agreement or the law requires us to keep them longer.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw a consent you gave, or object to its use. Write to privacy@curavit.org. Withdrawing consent does not affect what was done before. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Center or, in Saudi Arabia, to the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA).

Children

This website is meant for adults and businesses. Please do not send us personal data about children.

Changes

We will update this notice when the way we handle personal data changes, and show the new date at the top.
